So, in WOW they just added the expansion where they added the north lands full of snow. Maybe that’s why it seemed like that for me in the last day or so.

Getting home in the snow yesterday seemed like one of the Fed-ex quests to go places and report.

You know, one of those long quests that involve you crossing a zone or two. Not really exploring, just crossing space until you get where you’re going.

Then, like WOW, log out for the night.

Next morning, the real quest chain gets going.
The ultimate goal is to clean the cars and therefore get your transportation around the zone. Like wow mounts, cars greatly increase your movement speed and grant you access to areas you might not be able to get to otherwise.

But, you have to start at the beginning.

Quest 1: Find the left snow boot.
This one is easy. It’s sitting at the edge of our “office”. I found it quickly and brought it back to the living room to turn it in.

Quest 2: Find the right snow boot.
Like in WOW, you never get to do these things together. Find one, then go back for the other. Back to where you just were, only a little bit harder.
But, while the first boot had been obvious, the second wasn’t.
(Those who haven’t been to our apartment might not understand. I had to find the boot in one of our “storage” areas.)

But, with some searching, the second boot was found.

Quest 3: The left glove.
Like the first boot, the left glove was in plain sight outside of our hall closet.

Quest 4: The right glove.
Typical. The first is easy to find, the second much harder.
Of course, I hadn’t worn either since last March or so.
I found it. But much digging through the bottom of the closet was required.

Quest 5: The clearing of the cars

Finally, with the proper quest gear in (on) hand, I set off for the cars.

The snow was fairly thick.

Our apartment complex has a fairly good way of handling this. You clear your car, shovel just enough to move your car, put it in a space that is clear, and they plow out where you were.

Both cars were done fairly quickly this way.

Of course it is a repeatable quest. So, I did two extra cars of neighbors while out there for extra points. (Unlike in WOW where it is shown on the screen, it’s not clear where these points count, but that’s another issue.)

Now, lots of quests in WOW give food rewards. And, this was no different. After going through the quest chain I got a food reward.
Left overs!

Well, I was happy to get them. They warmed me right up.

Ok, for some reason I have absolutely no problem comprehending this way of thinking... LOL
