So, cleaning up my desk at work today I found the pile of fortunes from my trips to the Chinese restaurant since the last time I shared them.
I’m not sure what’s going on in the world of fortune telling. Many of these are in no way a fortune. Some are outright orders. It’s a long time since I received a “you will take a long journey”…
But, these are my fortunes, in no particular order:

The sky seems small when looked at from the bottom of a well.
You are a perfectionist. Don’t Spoil it.
The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.
Use proven methods, avoid shortcuts.
Benefit by doing things that others give up on.
The measure of time to your next goal is the measure of your discipline.
Of all crafts, to be an honest man is the master craft.
Your ideals are well within your reach.
