I waded in the arctic ocean (greenland sea) which John informs me is much warmer. It was also full of swimming Germans. Do you have Germans? Are they swimming?
There are a few people speaking German here, but they could be Swiss. Hard to say. Honestly we didn't watch too many of the other's jumping in as we had to get a Covid test before jumping and spent most of the time before the jump in line for that. After we jumped in we were too busying warming back up to watch others.
Yes. They're very worried that the shock of the cold will make you pass out. So, they make you wear this rope with a belt so they can haul you back on if you can't do it yourself. That's why they wouldn't let me carry my own camera, they were afraid it would get tangled in it.
