More detailed status

OK, it gets to the end of the day and I don’t have the energy to do much of a status report, to I’ll do it first thing for the day before.

It does look like my wife has recovered a fair bit. The state thinks yesterday was the "you might be through it" day for her, but she does still have some cough.

As has been true right along, I’m trailing a few days.

So, here it is:

Fever or chills- No, not really. My temperature is maybe a degree F above normal, but not much.

Cough-Yes, but not continuously.

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing- Not normally

Fatigue- A whole lot of this. I normally don’t take naps or anything like that but have been taking a lot. Part of this is because I’ve had a lot of trouble eating, so have been low energy due to that too.

Muscle or body aches- Some, but not a terrible amount.

Headache- Not much

New loss of taste or smell-yes. No sense of smell at all. It is very strange how it works. I’ll sniff something that normally has a fairly strong smell, like peanut butter. Then, a few minutes later I’ll get this memory floating through my head of the smell of peanut butter.
So, it’s like my brain is a long term google search saying "this is the closest match we’ve found".

Sore throat-Nope

Congestion or runny nose- Lots of this. And, I think this is why I’ve had trouble eating as the dripping from my nose fills my digestive tract. Not a happy idea, but…

Nausea or vomiting- Nope.

Diarrhea-Yeah. Less of it when I’m not eating, but there is still some.

So, that’s where I’m sitting now.

The last two nights I have taken a cold medicine that made me feel much better, especially in the morning.
So, yay for that.
