Long fire show

Tom asked us if we’d do a show for free for a fund raiser as he put it:
"This is a fundraiser for an organization that helps persons with disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. It is circus themed. Phoenix Swords will be receiving an award for our efforts and support at the event."
So, we agreed.

The issue is that they wanted a 90 minute show and we normally do 1/2 hour. But, we agreed under the plan we’d just repeat things as needed.
As it was for folks going into the event, the audience was constantly changing so they wouldn’t know we repeated.

They wanted to start at 5:30 in the evening, so my wife and I left work early and drove to the country club where it was being held.


The place certainly had been made up with a circus theme.



They had this "train" that was going to pick up folks and drive them up to the event. But, instead they filled it with clowns who honked these horns the whole time.

But, we had our own show to do and started right at 5:30


My wife had made a playlist for the whole 90 minutes that went through different themes at the 1/2 hours so we could tell where we were in the show musically. That worked out very well.
We did a lot of fire.



They also had a "unicorn" there. It was not very interested in the event. It reminded me more of Eeyore than a unicorn.


And, still we did fire.




Eeyore was not impressed.


Still, we did fire.






When Tom did the fire whip? Eeyore said "what was that noise?


And, as it got darker and darker, we continued.







I’ve got to admit, some of Tom’s whip tricks do worry me.


But, some things worry me more…



We finally finished the show with dual fire breaths with Casey and Tom.


I’ve edited a bunch of the video together. It’s longer than I normally do. But, we did a longer show too.
