It was a cloudy fall day and my wife started by picking up some of the branches that came down in this week’s storm.

Then, she and I practiced our fight. It’s been a bit since we did it and needed a refresher.

My wife also tried out her costume for this week’s circus themed show.

Tom is planning on his wedding outfit.

He needed to make sure he could do the whip with it on.

I don’t think these costumes are for me.

We did practice the fire some as we have fears about things being more flammable than normal this time of year.

And, it can be hard to spot fire. That lamp is bringing in the center…

And, Tom needed to check his costume with actual flames too.

On the way home, a grasshopper tried to take a ride with us.

It jumped off before we got too far.

It didn’t even make it across the river.

We did stop for some things on the way home.
The sky looked very strange.
