Workplace safety

The company that bought 1/3 of our company now has most of the building I work in.
They seem very concerned about work place safety. But, I’m not sure it is the most logical thing.
For instance, they make their folks wear safety vests to cross the road to the manufacturing building, even though there is a crosswalk.

It’s the same people who have been crossing that road for about 40 years without problems. But, now they’re safer.
They also think that safety starts with mirrors in the mens room.

I know, I know, you’re supposed to see yourself in it.
But, they put it at a height that doesn’t get that point across to me.

I guess safety starts with folks about the height of my elbows looking up at me.

Not exactly sure how that works…
