My wife did most of the packing for the trip.

We drove off well before sunset, but didn’t get there until midnight…

We were up early so we could set up, then get to the rehearsal before 8.

The ring was right near a birds nest, as it normally is, but this year there were birds in it.

We were happy that on Saturday our friend Al and our Godkids were there.

We did two historical shows and two of their stage acts per day.
Sadly, back to back. The first one was the historical show.

The kids always love shoving someone in the bag…

We did do the new rapier stuff that Devon and I had been working on.

Then, off to a stage show.

The program said we’d do sword lessons, so we did.
That’s a bit strange as we don’t do many any more.

After the show we went off to the local Chinese Restaurant for dinner.

Then off to WalMart for more supplies.

Then, we joined rooms together for our debriefing meeting.

Sunday dawned nice at the motel.

And, it was nice at the faire site.

At the faire we did it all again.

The birds were very impressed.

And, we were impressed with them.

For a short time I held the Pokegyms.

On the down side, Tom was cracking the whip all weekend long. I’m sure no one minded…

On Saturday, even the Godkids tried the whip.

It was nice to visit with the friends we have there.

On the way home there were balloons…

Sadly, we were still driving long after the sun went down…
