Summer has certainly come to the valley where we live.
Today is going to get up to 95F/35C.
We’re not doing much outdoors.


I spent an unexpectedly large amount of time this week making sure this part got installed in our robot freezers before the month ended.


Pokemon Go has introduced gift giving between friends. I’ve been trying to keep up.
Sorry for folks who have sent more than I’ve sent back. See the bit about not going out in the heat above…


When it gets warm, it seems that folks forget how to drive. Maybe you can’t tell that this truck taking the corner went past the edge of the road, the walk way and into the gardens on the side of the road. And, the cause was these other cars surrounded it so it really had no choice.


This is my outfit for the show in Germany in 2 weeks.

(I find it very amusing that we were watching the new season of Luke Cage when I was trying it on so you can see a character with the last name "Knight" behind me as I try it on…)

I hate those caterpillars.


It is not at all clear to me why they eat some and not others. But, I’m glad it isn’t everything!


Yesterday we went to storage and put away everything not going to Germany with us.


Then, went to get our comics.


For dinner we visited my aunt and her husband at their retirement home.


No, I still don’t like her husband. But, I can still make my aunt laugh and that is worth a lot to me.


Their cat was less impressed, but did visit for a bit.


My aunt has a candle holder my sister gave her out.

My sister is actually closer to my aunt’s age than mine. (10 years younger than my aunt, 15 years older than me.) And, my aunt misses her too.

I didn't know you got distance credit for that!
I look forward to mine hatching even more now!

You get the distance credit when you trade whatever you hatched with someone else. So I send you an egg, then you have a Denver egg with a Denver poke. Then you can trade it for a Bostonish poke and you both get x the kilometers between Boston and Denver. John and I traded Tokyo for London last night and got LOTS of kilometers.

Hmm, I've still got some of those kangaroos I caught in Australia.
That should be worth some km...
