It’s a 5 hour drive if there isn’t any traffic. But, there is always traffic.

It was still light when we got to NYC.

Not that the light made the traffic better.

We did get over the bridge into New Jersey without too much problem.

Scenic New Jersey.

We got in to the hotel before midnight and everyone went right to bed.
Then, fairly early in the morning we were at the site.

By tradition, Phoenix Swords is the first to show up to the dress rehearsal.

David Teagle had flown up from New Orleans, and had to learn his lines.

Eventually the others showed.

We did other practice before the shows.

It didn’t rain a whole lot, but it was damp.

So, the crowds were not big.

But, we still got people.

David toured as the villain of the faire and soon collected a group of child followers to help him take over the kingdom.

After the show was over it was dinner time.

Sunday, up not quite as early, then back down to the show.

Sunday was a better day.

Again, we were the first for the group photo.

The others did show up.

The ducks were very impressed.

Tom was big on the whip this weekend. A few others joined in, but Tom did it pretty much any time he wasn’t on stage.

The guy on the left came to all our shows and was very complimentary about them.

Then, back home. More traffic.

We got home about 2AM, which meant a tired day at work 5 hours later…
