1,000,000,000 seconds

At one minute and forty seconds after 6PM tonight it will be 1,000,000,000 seconds since I gave up drinking.

I had calculated this some time ago and put it on my calendar.
Then, forgot about it.
But, my iPad just came up with a 2 hour reminder.

Right now it’s been 999,992,953 seconds, but they’re ticking away, 60 every minute.

If you don’t have the conversion, it is 31 years, 251 days, 1 hour, 46 minutes and 40 seconds to be one billion.

I can’t lie, I’m pretty happy about this.
It’s been a bad day after a bad week last week.
This is a much nicer end to it.
