Jan. 21st, 2018 08:56 amWednesday we had more snow.

I can always tell when I’m the first out of my building on days like that.

Lots of folks stayed home, so the roads weren’t so bad.

It stopped snowing in the afternoon.

The deck outside the lunch room at work isn’t used much this time of year.

Even the snow slouches some.

A month after the darkest day of the year, it’s almost light again when I get to work.

The moon is still up on my way home.

This weekend is above freezing. The snow folk don’t seem to like that much.

I did hit level 31 on Pokemon Go.

I hit level 30 on the 7th of September, 4 1/2 months ago. So, not going up in levels very fast…
I’ve seen more than 7000 pokemon and caught more than 6000.

And, seem and captured more that 250 kinds.

It’s easy to tell when they add more types, isn’t it?
Saturday I went off and got my haircut.

Then, my wife and I went off for lunch.

We had a large discussion on the rate of fruit use at the restaurant.

Eventually, we asked the waitress who confirmed that might not even get them through one day.
I also found the local supermarket takes "goat bucks".

That’s the engineering school I went to that apparently now has it’s own campus money that local markets take.
I’m not sure it’s a good sign that schools are developing their own currency that other places take…
In other bad news, I got this message Friday night.

That’s the cleaners that had an agreement with where I work. All I had to do was leave dirty shirts in a bag in a closet near the front door of my building and 3 days later they’d be back cleaned and pressed.
Guess I’ll need to find a new place or start ironing them myself again. Sad.
