The days are getting shorter. I’m often at work before the sun is up and get home after it is down.




For the first time our town is offering early voting for the election the week after next.
So, we voted today.


Then, lunch at the Chinese place with the fish.


On Pokemon Go, it’s been raining ghosts this week. They’ve gone from rare to the most common.


We were going to go to a Halloween party tonight, but have both been feeling less than 100% this week, so decided to stay home.

I'm hoping I don't have to stand in too long of a line on Nov. 8. We can do absentee voting here this year w/o have a reason to be absent, but I'll go next Tuesday before work.

I love early voting and do it when I can!

Is it compulsory to vote there? It is in Australia.

It is not at all compulsory here. Often less than half the people vote.
That's one of the big tactics that the political parties use.
The more popular party tries to get people to vote, the less popular to stay home.
Of course really doing that is illegal so they have various ways to suggest it.

Personally I'd like to do it your way and require it.

Oh yes, I do think compulsory voting is good. Unfortunately a lot of people seem to just draw rude things on the ballot paper though.

I think it may just be allergies from having to turn on the heat this week. Dust builds up in the ducts so when it comes on for the first time in months, dust comes with it.
