Week in photos
Aug. 29th, 2015 08:13 pmMonday morning I had to go visit a supplier. I had to take the highway I used when I had my first job as an engineer 30 years ago. It was a cloudy day and the highway goes up and down some hills.
Nice drive.

I don’t miss that job, as it was horrible. But, the drive through the hills was nice each day.
Near where I was going was a launderama I thought was interesting. "Bubble-it".

Across the street from other cleaners. I wonder if there is a feud…

The day continued to be foggy, even after I got out of the hills.

But, it was nice by the end of the day. The sun is setting earlier these days. It’s almost down by the time I get home. Soon it will be fall.

But, it isn’t dark when I get home yet.

There was a lot of rain and clear weather this week.

Thursday as I was going to get some lunch, a World War 2 plane dropped out of some clouds and buzzed over me.

It was closer than these photos make it look.
I think I remember this sort of thing happening in an episode of Torchwood. Everyone lived happily ever after, right? No, that isn’t what I remember either.
Hopefully it will be better for me.
Back in the 80’s I had a screen saver with flying toasters on my computer. I saw one in the sky coming home Thursday night.

Friday, no clouds.

Someone must have jiggled the world’s mouse.
Today I saw some of the leaves starting to turn. It’s about three weeks until it is officially fall. But, they’re not waiting.

My wife and I went to our favorite Indian place, got take out for dinner, while it cooked went to the Whole Foods across the street.

Normally it is crazy busy there on a Saturday. But, we seemed to have hit a lull in the crowd. As we were leaving it got much busier.
I have to remember 12:30 is when to go…
