Are peaches good for computers?
Aug. 25th, 2011 01:31 pmSo, while eating lunch, my fingers slipped and my bottle of peach/orange juice up ended and poured into my keyboard. It filled up and overflowed onto the rest of the desk.
But, that's OK, right?
It's just sugar filled fruit juice, that can't be bad for electronics, can it?

What, you may ask, is bad?
When you take your car to the shop and explain to the man which idiot lights came on while you drove home yesterday and he says “Oooo, that’s not good.”
I’m not too worried about the “service engine soon” light.
The ABS brake light does worry me. And, the electrical failure light bothers me too.
I’m hoping that the battery ran down enough that the breaks had issues or something like that.
I also hope fixing it won’t take the $1300 it took to get it to pass inspection back in July.
We’ll see.
Also in the “bad” category was last night.
The normally 2 hour drive to the show took 4 ½. Two of those hours spent in the last 3 miles to our exit on the highway. We don’t know why the road stopped, but it did.
Then, after finally getting there, we were told the show was cancelled. They meant to tell us before we left home, but forgot.
Hopefully tonight will go better.
Again, we'll see.
