Good? I’m not sure...

So, today I forgot to put on my daft ring. This is not uncommon. Fairly often I’m still groggy in the morning and don’t grab one before I leave home. That’s why I keep a little bag of them in my desk drawer. Usually I remember and put one on.
Today, I’ve had a problem. I keep remembering, then forgetting again. It’s been a busy day, so that may be why.
But, I’m worried about my memory trigger.
Each time I’ve remembered, it has been standing at the urinal. Each time today (5 so far) I’ve said “I’ve got to put on my ring.” Each time, when I get back to my desk, something interrupts me and I forget.
(Now, with the day mostly gone, I put one on.)
I guess it’s good while holding what I’m holding at the time I’m thinking of my wife and our marriage. Right? Right?

Date: 2008-07-17 09:39 pm (UTC)Well, it IS your anniversary, so it's already on your mind...Maybe you're thinking too much and it's causing you to somehow subconsiously forget?
maybe it's subconsious that you feel bad about your daft ring like your first dinner date with Burger King...?

Date: 2008-07-18 11:42 am (UTC)We met at a party and after a couple of hours said "let's go get something" and in 1983 BK and Denny's were the only things open after 9. So, we went to BK.
But, it wasn't a date. Both of us agree with that.
