My 11 month old balloon is getting closer and closer to the end. Instead of floating in the high end of our living room it moved to the low end. Maybe to be near the window.

I suspect it knows its days are numbered and wants to look out at the sunshine for its last few days. But, it’s been floating for 11 months. Who knows when it will finally land?

Today was clear, sunny and almost the perfect temperature.

So, the plants were at it again, covering everything including my lungs with yellow pollen.

I’m still worried about that hill near where I live where they chopped down all the trees.

The city next to us had an infestation of a beetle that attacked many trees. I hope it has not spread here.

Can you see what’s missing.

Yes, the person who rents us our practice space took his car off to a car show. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it out of the yard before.

His wife’s flowers are doing very well.

Although you can see that flower season is coming to an end.

The lilacs that are my wife’s favorite are gone.

Oh yeah, we did sword fighting too.

Getting ready for the show in New Jersey later this month, my wife is coming up with some way to have kids trap us where they don’t have to swing around swords.

I don’t like the pollen.
I do like the green.

And, there is a lot of it these days.

On the way home we saw something strange.

Yes, that’s horses rear end has been bedazzled.

Haven’t seen that before…

I'm going to guess that those horses had been to a horse show. Kids often have "decorate your horse" classes that they compete in.

Also, yes, it was fabulous outside today!

The flowers are so pretty.

When the balloons finally float to the ground, do you let the remaining helium out of them and fold them up and keep them?

Sometimes. It depends on the balloon!

I think it is great that you had kids there to try out the new trap ideas.

Lovely green and flowers.

I haven't seen a horse decorated like that either, interesting! I'm sure they probably enjoy the attention :P
