When I got to work today one of the lab people let me know that some time
in the rain last night we lost power.
“When?” I asked.
“2:59,” he said. “It came back on at 3:34.”

So, when I got out of bed last night, so frustrated with work I felt the
need to write about it, the power went off where I work.
It came back on after I posted, just about the time I crawled back into bed.

In many a fictional universe that would be evidence of my having a
superpower.
But, I’m not going out to buy a cape just yet…

Maybe your family is touched or blessed. I find it fascinating. I have never met someone that has so many things happen like this to them unless they're a character in a book. =)

I am so sorry, maybe touched was the wrong word, but my grandma used it a different way and I just forgot it was different. oops. Forgive me. My grandma just used it to mean God made them different for a higher purpose. It's what she told me anyway. But it could be she was embarrassed to be caught gossiping as a preacher's wife? *shrug*

I feel bad. =(
