I can’t blame her

Today as we were getting supplies for tonight’s fire show, we went to the candy store.

I know, I know. Just yesterday the doctor was telling me I was fat and needed to lose weight. But, I don’t go to the candy store often.

I don’t normally sign my credit cards so they will ask me for extra ID. Most don’t. Once in a while they do.
Today, the woman at the candy store did ask me.

“Thank you for checking,” I said. “Most people don’t.”
“I had to,” she said. “You publicly tell people you’re an evil genius.”
