fbhjr: (sick)
[personal profile] fbhjr

Most of our days now are above freezing, even if the nights are not.
And, we had some rain last week.
So, today on the first of April, I finally saw the snow pen outside the window at work again:

It has been invisible under the snow for months now. I wasn't even sure it was still there.
But, there it is again.

The bad news is that even with plenty of snow still on the ground, the plants have started having sex.

So, a couple of months of my feeling sick without a gap between snow and pollen.

cedar and juniper and poplin/aspen are what pollen.com tells me is currently blowing around in my area. and i'm allergic to cedar and juniper. i swear yesterday i went thru over 20 tissues if not more. my stupid nose just wouldnt quit. i'm always glad for the return of the sun and warmth, but the return of allergies really sucks. tell them trees and bushes to keep it to themselves!

That's the worst thing about spring - the plants get it on and it causes so many people to feel unwell!
