This week’s practice
Feb. 1st, 2015 07:27 pmI don’t want to hear anything about "winter is coming". It’s here.

These days our members who live 2 1/2 hours south are not very active. But, our folks near Worcester and up in New Hampshire are. So, for a few times before this coming big show, we are going to do practice closer to the folks in the north.
yebo &
zosh have been nice enough to offer us their driveway and use of their bathrooms. (They are the folks who also host game night, and are very nice about letting us use their home..)
It works out well for us. It’s only 3 miles/5km to their house for us.

Casey brought his son, who seemed to have great fun gathering pine cones in the snow.

It was cold, but not as cold as last night. And, the folks who showed up are pretty good in the cold.

Even if some folks did get thrown in the snow…

Jose was very happy he finally finished the knifes for his Spanish knife fighting techniques. (It’s been 3 or 4 years…)

The autocorrect on the fight said "lick the knife" instead "kick the knife". Jose does his best to follow instructions.

Then, it was time for fire. Out in the cold, everyone was happy with this.

As we finished I noticed they were rebuilding the old clock tower for the mental hospital.

I was happy to see that. It has been a landmark for decades. I was afraid they were taking it down, not rebuilding it.
Anyhow, I know by now you’re saying "where are the animated GIFs", so here you go.
