The snow started getting bad last night.

The storm was originally going to be bad near the coast. But, by morning they added a special bad band that went from where I live to where I work.

When I woke up I worried some.

We live on the second floor. Why is snow piled up to the window?
It turned out it was only caught in the window frame.

I did worry about some of the stuff on the news. My town was leading the snow fall amounts. They also shut down the nuclear plant in the state just because. They told us not to worry, so I’m sure it was OK, right? (It was because the feed lines out of it collapsed in the storm. So, if the power can’t get out, why generate it, right? So, really not that much to worry about.)

The snow wasn’t all that bad from the other windows.

It was still a lot of snow.

The towns in orange are where I live and work. Yellow that I drive through to get there. You can see a lot of snow.

But, given how the cars were buried, it didn’t make a lot of difference.

I do like how sometimes the snow seems to glow from inside.

I still had a lot of work to do on my laptop from home. And, a 2 hour phone conference with the CEO and his executive team over the status of our project. (I took notes. My boss did most of the talking.)

After all that I did go out to clean off the cars. That’s when I found the reason for the bad storm. It was snow Dakeks!

I hate when they create a major snow storm just to use as cover!

I managed to chase it off, but still had to deal with the snow it left behind. It did not look any less from ground level.

If you can’t tell, it was taller than some cars.

I did my car first as it was easier.

Then, I had to face the difficult car.

The biggest problem isn’t the shoveling. As it was a very fluffy snow, it wasn’t hard to move. The problem was, where to put the snow?
I ultimately needed to use a tarp to haul it to the end of the row of cars and dump.

I did get my wife’s car dug out.

Look! Snow!
