Strange Doctor Who tie in

I just watched this week’s episode of Doctor Who involving Robin Hood.
I was interested to see that part of it was filmed at the castle that cosmicirony and I went to last April.

The "extra" making of the episode mentions they celebrated Peter Capaldi during the filming. His birthday is the 14th of April and we were there on the 10th.
So, we must have just missed that.

In the episode the weather is supposed to be unusually sunny and warm. The writer mentions how it was strange that when filming it really was unusually sunny and warm.
Which is something we had talked about when we were there as well.

I’ve been a fan of the show for more than 40 years now.
It’s a bit strange to see it being filmed where I had been less than a week before and talk about the same weather we had discussed at the time…
