Logic is pretty flowers that smell bad...

We brought the computer into the shop today.
I know it is the logic board, the customer service guy knows it is the logic board, but we let him try a half and hour of different things to make sure.
It may still just be the video processor, but I don't think so.
We will get it back in a few days, hopefully good as new.
We'll see.

Been there, came out the other side with a new logic board a year or two back. It's a pain to run through the "other possible suspects" list in the meantime...

Easy: sure. Leave it at the shop a few days
Inexpensive: Yeah. Well, it will be cheaper than getting a new one.

Don't get me wrong, it is good to check and I'm glad he did.
But, it was pretty clear what the answer would be.
