The class was in mid-Wales in the Powys area. That’s not a very urban area.
And, to get there we drove through some nice places with more sheep than people.

But, there were some people. Including some construction in places I didn’t expect it.

There were also signs we didn’t really understand.
Weak bridge.

To me that sounds like "don’t drive over this". But, I guess that isn’t what it means there.

Here it seemed to be narrow bridge where sides had to take turns going over it.

No bridges?

We saw this sign lots of times. We were never sure what it meant. It looks like "no bridges" to us. But, we don’t understand the context.

Also, it is nice that the rest areas are really that. Gas, food, electric charge and a hotel all in one rest area.

We also saw many fields of these yellow flowers.

They are clearly grown on purpose, but also growing wild in some spots. No idea what they are.

We did get lost a couple of times trying to follow the Google instructions.
We eventually we just got a map.

When we got to the class area, the road kept getting narrower and narrower.

We were almost there with the gates. Three gates to get through.

But, we did get there and it is very nice there.

There were no sheep on the actual site, but they were never far away.

There were examples of all the things Bronze Age Foundry makes.

And, one of the folks for the class brought a cool car he had made himself.

Next, I will go on about the class. I promise.

What beautiful countryside - you really did see a lot of the country and not just the tourist areas.

The yellow flowers are rapeseed! ;-) We've got a lot of that here as well.

EDIT: And I think the sign is end of the motorway. At least it looks similar to the German sign ...

What else would be at one? O_O

Are the yellow flowers daffodils? They are the national flower of Wales and all. :)

And how did that person make their own car? :O

We did see many daffodils, but this is something else in the fields. It doesn't have one big flower like the daffodil, but is a central stalk with lots of little yellow flowers on it.

For the car: he bought a kit that had al the major pieces and assembled it himself. There were several of the pieces that needed to be adjusted to fit or hand made to work. Much like the swords we made.

The bridge sign is to warn drivers of heavy loads. The bridge was probably built for horse drawn traffic and later tarmacked as the road network was resurfaced from cobbles. It can't take an 18 wheeler or van with a heavy load,.
