Week in photos
Apr. 6th, 2014 08:27 amThe longer days had reached the point where I was getting to work after the sun rise. But, daylight savings time moved that back.
This week I caught up with the dawn again on my way in.

Some of the days I caught up a lot.

At work I saw one of the foxes for the first time in a VERY long time. The last time was last May, so 11 months ago. It was following the same path as the turkeys, so maybe that is connected, maybe not. Either way it was too fast for me to get a photo as it did not come knock on the doors like the turkeys.
The fox did seem to change how the turkeys acted. We saw less of them, they stuck to the woods and seemed to be more "puffed up" than normal.

Hopefully there will be more of both to come.
Spring is here as the trees are all putting out their pollen. But, the leaves have not yet appeared. So, it is bare and causing allergies. My least favorite combination.

But, we did have several day where it was 60F/15C, so that was a nice change.
The warmer weather, and a lot of rain last week, has melted most of the snow.

There are only a few concentrated areas of it were it had been piled before.

My cactus and lithops are enjoying the greater sunlight.

One of the lithops looks like it’s going to be splitting soon.

Our apartment complex is also getting ready for Spring.
They’ve bought a ton or two of mulch to put around. It’s sat in our parking lot for a week already. Someday they’ll spread it around.
