It lasted almost two weeks…

I feel really run down this morning.
At first I put it down to staying up late to go to the movies last night
and then meeting a former neighbor driving fruit through the parking lot of
our apartment.*

So, I tried an experiment. I went and stood in the -4F/-20 freezer of my
giant robot freezer. A couple of deep breaths and even in the cold I felt
much better.
Yep. That means it is allergies.

I looked up the data and today is only rated an 8 out of 12 for pollen. I
know those days of 11 or more are coming and I am not looking forward to
them.
Especially when 8 makes me feel like there is a wood clamp on my head.

I did take a couple of Advil for it. Turns out they were my last two.
I’ll have to work on that.
And, spend more time in the freezer.

It isn’t a surprise. It has rained most of the time since it became spring
here.** And, the last two days have been sunny and warm, 60F/15C.
So, I don’t blame the plants.
But, that doesn’t mean I like it.

*Yeah, I tend to encounter old neighbors in odd ways. He had a perfectly
good reason to drive fruit around his old apartment complex in the middle
of the night. No, really, he did.

**morgan_lafaye has pointed out to me that the movie Noah
opened and it began to rain. And rain. And rain. Didn’t stop for more
than a week. Good thing it didn’t do all 40 days…

Blah, I know how you feel. Plants are going crazy around here, lots of folks are sniffling and red-eyed.

Ugh allergies. Yeah I am already trying to get a game plan in motion. I might be asking about shots since I have insurance now. I hope yours don't get too bad.

It rained over here today and my car is YELLOW now instead of dark-blue. All the pols are washed out of the air.
Allergies suck!!
