My wife says I should write this
Mar. 13th, 2014 07:56 pm30 years ago flight 007 was shot down over Russia.
The reason it went into forbidden airspace was they had programed the autopilot wrong and it took the direct path to its goal, not the proper path around forbidden space.

My thought is something similar happened to the missing flight 370. I think something went wrong, probably some sort of fire or something on board.
I think they tried to turn around and go back and put a goal into the flight computer.
But, they got the wrong city.
Follow the path from where they were and where they were seen going and 6000 miles later it comes to Cape Town in South Africa.
The plane wasn’t set up for that trip. So, even best case it wouldn’t have made it. And, this wasn’t the best case.
But, that’s what I think happened.
I’m probably wrong.

Date: 2014-03-14 02:19 pm (UTC)My theory - the pilots - or some of the passengers - are HUUUUGE fans of the TV series "LOST", and had to go back to the island to rescue Jack and the others. No one can know the location of the island, so they had to turnoff the transponders and fly under the radar to avoid someone tracking them and finding the location of the hidden island. hopefully they landed OK... they'll probably return somewhere in the US by submarine..
