It’s been quite cold here so far this year.
Cold enough that people’s footprints freeze to the sidewalk.

This does mean the snow is fairly light and fluffy, which is why it blew away where it wasn’t compressed.

Friday was game night. I got less photos than normal as we started after folks had eaten.

My wife and I had planned to eat at our favorite sushi place, and were quite sad to find we could not.

Their web site says they’ll open again in a few weeks. I certainly hope they do.

I’ve been sick since the first of the year. It’s gotten better since my $700 sick day, but I’m still not back to normal.
Most of my days feel like this:

Of course, some are more like this.

Where have I seen these waffles before?

They are what I made new years day, right?
Why am I thinking of feathers…

The other day I bought two of these so my wife and I could try them.

Yep. Not going to do that again.

Those footprints are awesome. Would have been perfect for my photo prompt yesterday...

That last photo sounds disgusting. Just blech.

We don't have waffles all the time.
I make them for special occasions. Since there are only 2 of us, that means I usually have lots left over.

What exactly is Deep Fried Peanut Butter And Fluff?

It was not clear to me as well, which is why I bought some to try. And, having tried one, I'm still not totally sure.

Fluff is a sandwich spread made of marshmallow as it used in some candy.

As far as I can tell they:
1) Put peanut butter on one piece of bread
2) Put fluff on another
3) Put them together with the spreads in the middle.
4) Coated it in something, I don't know what
5) Threw it in an oil frier to cook.

The result was very sticky and sweet.
I will not buy it again.

Fluff? What on earth?

Fluff here is fluff from your fluffy jumper and sometimes fluff is a word little kids use for a fart .. so ... Deep Fried Peanut Butter and farts doesn't sound very tasty.

Interesting about the footsteps. I've never seen anything like that.

Here fluff is a sandwich spread made of marshmallow.
Very stick and sweet like the inside of some candy.

Yes, that was our conclusion too.
But it was a strange enough idea I was willing to try one and see.
It was yuck.
