I’m allergic to nickel, which is in most metals used for jewelry.

So, for my wedding ring I use O-rings. Every so often I’ve got to clean them.
Today was that day.

I could experiment with other metals. But, so far, I’ve been too cheap to pay for the metal without knowing it will work.
And, O-rings work.

I too have an allergy to nickel. I ended up getting a tungsten ring with black powder coat on it. I have had it a year and *knock on wood* haven't had any reactions like I do to other metals.

Good to know.

Right now I'm happy with the o-rings, but it is good to know of another option.

My mom and dad haven't worn wedding rings for as long as I can remember.

5 per hand.
I wear one at a time and swap when they get dirty.
When I run out of clean ones I was them.

I use clear nail polish on jewelry to stop allergic reactions.

I tried that many years ago, but the nail polish bothered me too...

But then we wouldn't have so much fun watching you wash O-rings!

What do you use to wash them?
