I must admit, my thoughts this week continue to stray towards that vacation week at the end of the month.

The turkeys are back at work.

It was the first time I saw them since Thanksgiving. I was beginning to wonder if they met a fate of food that day.

But, there are still a lot of them roaming the parking lots of Franklin.

It has been very foggy this week.

It doesn’t photograph well. It was much more foggy than it looks like in that photo.

But, it does make the season’s lights look nice.

This isn’t the town where I live, but the town I drive through on my way home to get there.

What is that Lego thing in the first picture?

It is a calendar.
I turned the numbers around for the days I'm on vacation and wrote "vacation" over the back side of them.

No. But, it is a construction brick calendar.
Not made by Lego, but some similar company so it is very similar.

I've been thinking about going to the Lego store and making a real Lego one as it would give me a lot more options.

I know someone who works at the Lego store in Natick. Might be able to get a discount as an employee

I'm not too worried about the cost of enough blocks to make a calendar.
I'm more worried about going to the mall in holiday season...

Even if it's not Lego it's pretty cool!

Oh yes. They live out in the woods behind where I work. They come out to forage at sun rise and sun set.

It's funny to see turkeys like that in such a metropolitan area. We have wild turkeys here too, but we're in the mountains.

There is something about wild turkeys that makes me smile, even when I am trying not to run over them in my car.
