Today is the day

I just turned on the heat. It's 42F/6C. It's been colder. The other day going to work it was only 37F/3C. But, tonight is also damp. And, that damp cold is doing it.
So, 31 days into fall, the heat comes on.

We had to give in and turn on the heat last week. Thermostats are all set at 64F now.. I hate it when we hit our breaking point - there's no going back to summer now except through another winter!

Wish I could say we turned on ours. We tried. It's not working repair guy will be here ( hopefully) Thursday AM. I broke down and bought a space heater. At least the living-room is warm. I have an electric blanket and cats to keep me warm.

Yup. Musesrealm has a bunch of blankets so burrowing kept us fairly toasty...That is until we had to wake up and get to the bathroom for showers.

I hope the museum's heat is on. Yesterday the heat and the A/C was competing with each other / taking turns....

We're in the middle of Spring and yesterday morning it was 3C .. it was freezing. Heater is on today too although it's slightly warmer - but only slightly.

Might be a long winter then huh?
