It was a very nice Saturday morning.

They have a lot of halloween stuff.

And, they still have at least one flower in bloom in the fall.

There were also some birds that made some nice big circles over the place.

The work was fairly easy and went fast. Once it was done, we headed back into Worcester.

We stopped for lunch at the Worcester Art Museum.

They have redone three of their rooms with their masters.

It is an interesting way to display the art.

The tilting so that you can see them straight on helped me to see them.

They also took down all the signs with information on the paintings and replaced them with “gallery guides” that you can pick up and carry around with you. I’ve got nothing against that, but they didn’t add any extra information and I think they should have. They did leave some art books in the gallery, but without more information I wouldn’t know where to look in the books for the info.
Of course, benches.

Then, back across the lake to Shrewsbury.

Then, an afternoon of laundry and mopping floors.

Maybe not the most fun, but needed.

Date: 2013-10-20 04:10 pm (UTC)with additional info) would be very good. They did have the iPod on a stand when I was there not too long ago, that was developed my Dr. Wurst's students at WSC. That was
interesting and has a lot of potential. Made me think it would have some potential for the other museum that begins with an H and ends in Sad, as more background info for the
artifacts and armors would have been nice, instead of the half-asses QR codes that only a few pieces have, if it still works. (a visitor came in and asked me what that code
was for and I mentioned it was for smart phones. She tried it a few times and it didn't work, but she might not have been doing it right or not have the app, I don't know, as I don't
have a smart phone but I digress)
Don't know for sure what bird that is, I want to say Broad Winged Hawk, as this is the time for them to be migrating as they're fairly early migrators.
