Sword practice was hot

As it is the middle of summer and hot and humid, not so many folks have been making it to practice.

(Although to be fair, there are 4 folks there not shown in the photo...)

We tried an exercise where you did something different if you were in sun or shadow.


I interpreted what was a pool or light differently than adorabrightmoon, which took her by surprise.

But it worked out in the end.

Then we switched to our gloved base “dodgeball” practice.



But, that wore people out so there was a big shade & water break.


Then, more sword work.




We didn’t do any fire. I played a bit with my wife’s fire trick, but not lit. I’m told I almost had it right.


But, over all, I should stick with swords.

OK, but due to the distance it will take a while to get there. I'd start looking for it in December...
