Texas, so nice it is hard to leave

We slept fairly late this morning then went off to a Waffle House for breakfast. It was so crowded, we got it to go and ate it in the parking lot.
We decided to go see a movie and went and saw Red 2. We both liked it very much.
My wife's flight home was at 6. So, at 3 we headed over to the airport with the thought of we could eat something together, then she could go through security.
Sadly, in Dallas all the restaurants are after security and I couldn't get through as I'm not flying until Tuesday.
But, we stayed and visited outside security until it was time for her to go in.

Then, I came back to the hotel.
With nothing to do until tomorrow at 11, I decided to walk across the highway to get my dinner.

I kept looking for my wife's plane, but I didn't see it.

I came back to the hotel with my dinner and my wife called to let me know she hadn't taken off as her plane was broken. I checked the web site and every time I hit refresh the time moved back 20 minutes.
I stopped hitting refresh, but it was already 2 hours late.
Very sad.
About sundown she texted they were getting on their plane.

After a mere 2 1/2 hours, I spotted her plane headed out.

I'm glad she finally did manage to take off. I am sad she's going home before me. And, very sad we could have spent a lot more time together if we had known how all of this was going to go down. But, until she was actually on the plane and in her seat, everyone thought it was going to be on time.
Hope she gets home OK and there aren't problems on the Boston end...
