Wait, where now?

One of the web sites I look at every so often is one that tracks the tags put on great white sharks: http://sharks-ocearch.verite.com

Sometimes they are near us, more often they are in other parts of the world.
But, I was surprised to see one very close to us.


In New Bedford Harbor?


That’s less than 10 miles from that beach we like, and very close to shore.


Hmmm. Well, my aunt sold the cottage last year. Maybe we won’t make a beach trip...

The beaches should be fine as long as you are not around any seal areas.

It is a cool site, but doesn't update that often. Once a week is about how often I go to look. But, it is cool.

I don't swim with seals. Smell like fish...
