Tom came over Friday night and stayed over so we could get an early start. We set off at 5:45, met up with the others and drove down to NY. Dobbs Ferry is about 10 miles north of NYC.
This is the second year we’ve done their faire.
I’m told there was something funny about how I looked driving in costume. Don’t know.

We did our shows. They went over well.

We weren’t sure what to do afterwards. Finally we went to the mall. Yes, I’m amazed my wife was willing to go.
One of the reasons she agreed to go was I forgot to pack shoes. I could walk through the Met tomorrow in my ren boots, but I didn't want to. First, they don't go with street clothes. Second, I don't want to wear them out unless it's doing shows. Third, there is more comfortable footwear out there...
(Yes, it was stupid to forget them. But, at 5:45 AM I'm luck I didn't forget something more important than that.)
So, we all agreed and set off. I've driven by this mall for decades, but never gone it. I've joked about it over the years that we should stop. But, my wife hates malls. Everything she hates about them seemed to be at this one.
It was crowded. We had trouble parking.

Inside, it was also crowded.

We ate at a very slow Italian place. The food was good, but achingly slow.
You were allowed to draw on the tablecloth. My wife drew me a nice drawing of us on the tablecloth.

They had an apple store. I went and played with their iTouch ipods. Very nice. I still want one. Maybe with the tax bonus, or if I get a work bonus this year. We'll see.
Tomorrow, the Met…
