Mortimer

I’ve had Mortimer for about 20 years now.
Years ago I used to have dreams that I was going to die in a car accident going through the NH mountains at night under a full moon. In the dream I was alone.
So, my wife (then girlfriend) suggested I bring Mortimer with me as I drove down and back to see her on weekends, alone at night, through those mountains. With him in the car with me, I wouldn’t be alone, so the dream wouldn’t come true.
My theory about him is that he is a real mammoth who is just very old. Like people, he has shrunk as he aged. He doesn’t move much because he’s tired. That also happens with age, right?
There used to be a group of my friends who were trying to find a female mammoth so we could re-populate the species. But, it hasn't worked out.
I’m not exactly sure when he became a Green Lantern. One day, he had the ring…
So far, no super villains have shown up because of it. Just as well…

I remember quite a few nights talking to Ole' Mortimer when I stayed with you guys. He is a very wise all knowing Mammoth.
