Or’s fair, ducks, storage, snow
Feb. 23rd, 2013 08:06 pmIt preparation for the snow it was a dreary Saturday.
My wife wanted to go off to a historical reenactor’s swap meet, so off we went.

There were some folks we knew there.

Apparently it wasn’t really the reenactor’s swap meet we expected.

I guess it was folks trying to reenact Or’s Fair.
I do know who Or was, what kind of fair it was or anything like that. So, I don’t know if they were doing a good job or not.

It was fairly crowded. Very little in our time period.

Lots of American Revolution and more recent stuff.
I did by a fez, because fezes are cool.
When we came out my wife and I both thought it was funny that there was a duck just walking up the road.

Maybe you had to be there. But, it was a lot like the duck was the valet parking attendant or something.

Then we went to storage and got everything out we need to bring to the show next weekend. Once we were done there was hardly room for the two of us, never mind a 3rd person and luggage.

We’ll work on that before we leave.
The snow did finally start at 5PM.

The city of Worcester had a parking ban that started at 10AM, just in case.
Personally I think that has more to do with them wanting to write parking tickets than the snow that started 7 hours later. But, that’s me. I’m cynical that way.
