Looking back over 2012, I realize I’ve added a lot of people to my friends
list, almost all of whom I do not know in “real” life.
At the start of the year I had met 91% of the people on my friends list.
(And, my wife with her many accounts was 12% of it alone.) Granted some of
those folks I have only met a handful of times at best, but I have still
met them.
Now the folks I’ve never met personally is up to 29% of the folks here.
That’s very cool. One of the whole reasons I started posting on line was
to make new friends.
It is a bit intimidating as well. What I write here is such a small window
on my life.
At various times in my life I’ve been pen pals with folks far away. It
reminds me of that, but pen pals with a whole bunch of folks at once.
