Because I haven’t felt well this week, I’ve fallen behind on my ironing. I
need to iron my shirts for work and like to do a week’s worth in advance.
As luck would have it, I did two weeks in advance just before I got sick,
so it worked out well. But, now I’ve got to start up again.

So, the question is, how many do I iron?
I’ve got to get tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. But,
then we go on vacation.

Should I stop at 4, or do more to make it easier when I come back.
But, if the world is going to end while I’m on vacation, why bother?
Especially if it is going to end at 6:11 AM, normally when I’m getting
ready for work, but hopefully a time I’ll be asleep on vacation.

Wait...people still iron?! (we send out Jeff's clothes for dry cleaning and they come back pressed and I don't have to dress all fancy pancy for work!) I can't remember the last time I looked at my iron...

I used to get mine done like that. But my job moved away from that cleaner. And, the cleaner near where we live has lost too many of our things for us to continue using them.
So, I iron them myself.

I'm trying to picture any of the engineers I know (other than you) ironing their shirts. Nope. I can't even imagine them wearing shirts that could be ironed.

I used to wear polo shirts. They also required ironing, but not quite so much.
Then my boss said "You're an engineering manager now. Dress like one."
At least he didn't make me wear a tie. I've had to in the past.

Ironing is the bane of my life. At the moment, I (choose to) work at home about 60% of the time (yay for working in a dressing gown); ironing does my nut. Especially when I'm supposed to look presentable when biffing around the office.

I miss being able to rock up to the office in shorts, tshirt and birkenstocks.

I saw that poll answer!

See, you shouldn't have pushed that "my wife should do it" button...

Actually, I've always wanted to go to the UK. Maybe it will work out...

As long as you can cope with crap weather, rude people, inconsistent everything, and everyone driving too fast, you'll do fine.
