A happy ending to a long anniversary

Yesterday it was 19 years since my wife and I got married.
Sadly yesterday was a long day at work. It went about as you’d expect with
34 days until the customer comes to approve their $1,000,000 system, it
isn’t finished, there is a surprise safety inspection, and the roof starts
leaking on the system.
There are 27 items on my MUST get done list. That’s more than any other
group. But, that really only shows that the other groups don’t even know
what they’re missing yet. Electrical and Software both wrote: “get it
running” as their action item. The test department only wrote: “Make sure
it works.”
So, my having concrete action items puts me ahead in the push to get things
done.
My boss asks people to stay an extra 4 hours on Tuesdays. As I get in
about 6:45 I finally got home after 9 last night.
And, I found my wife had bought me balloons!

Yay! Balloons are one of my favorite things!
And, she had make me a cake too!

Yay!
I am so happy she is my wife.
