Six month report

I’ve now had the PriusC for 6 months and just over 10,000 miles.

We will have to see how it does when the snow comes, but in spring and summer it was fantastic.
My average miles per gallon of gas is just under 50, and that is due to it taking me a tank or two to learn how to get good at it.

There are only two things I don’t like about it:
The rear windshield wiper is set for a driver on the right side. Great in Japan where it is made, less useful here.
I can’t have the air conditioning blow on me through the vents and the windshield at the same time. I can do my feet and the windshield together, but not on me.
My wife doesn’t like that it hurts her butt to sit in it for more than an hour. But, she can write her own review of it.

Date: 2012-09-23 12:25 am (UTC)I usually get between 50 and 52 mph.
But, some of the trips we take do much worse or much better.
It seems to hate upstate New York....

Date: 2012-09-23 04:28 am (UTC)I wonder why the seats areso uncomfy to your wife? I found that for a small inexpensive car, its the most comfy of all the ones I've had. Only my trucks were more comfy, but heck, they were big things.

It is just a case of the way it fits her specifically.
Putting a towel over it seems to help a lot.

Date: 2012-09-23 05:06 pm (UTC)I hope y'all find a similar fix, cuz that really can ruin a car for you- ages ago I owned one w/seats that did me like that, and the thought of making long car trips made me cringe.
