This morning we set out for the first sword practice in a few weeks. As we drove through Worcester I heard our new bucklers rattle in the back as we went over a bump.
“I’m surprised they can rattle with all the swords on them,” I thought to myself.
Then, I tried to remember when we picked up the swords....

So, we turned around and drove back to storage.
I hate it when I’m stupid, but at least there was enough time to recover.

Then, at storage, we got trapped by a big truck.

The driver backed all the way in to block us, then got out and said “were you trying to leave?”
He did pull up enough we could squeeze by.

The clouds on the way to practice were strange.

But, when we got there it was sunny.

I taught our two new members two different fights today.

The long sword fight I learned 12 years ago at Higgins and the fight my wife and I wrote for ourselves about the same time.
They both learned both fairly quickly, which was impressive.
