Game night September
Sep. 8th, 2012 06:09 pmGame night started with an interesting sunset.

This month we had stew and chili.

Of course, Roman Reenactors were forced to eat in the other room.

There was a lot of video watching on iPads.

And, not everyone was in to that.

But, eventually we broke out SnoozeWadler’s spy game.

After that, Tim’s knight game.

Finally we finished with Andrew’s zombie game.

He said we played differently from most as we were trying to get everyone out alive rather than sacrificing people to the zombies.

This did make the game go on for a while.

Finally my character got the missing bag of rice and we could complete the adventure.

So, my character ran to the finish line with the rice so my wife and I could get home by midnight. Hopefully the other folks lived...

To match the cloudy sun photos, when we got home a cloudy moon was rising.

Date: 2012-09-09 12:42 am (UTC)obliterate large numbers of zombies (and had some great dice rolls), our biggest hit was we managed to corral 10 of them into the central building where we started,
and tossed in a Molotov. We also managed to take out the Abomination and as we got into the 'Orange' zone experience, were able
to take out another dozen zombies, but by then it was 12:30 and we just made a run for it to the exit.
As much as I was annoyed with the overpowering game dynamics, and the constant discussion about what the best plan(s) were
supposed to be, when we finally started killing zombies and managed to corral them into small groups, the game actually got
a little better, IMHO.
