Yesterday morning on the way to work I found a very small plague of locust on our front door.

This isn’t as bad as the biblical ones. But, I guess I’m not Pharaoh either...
We didn’t feel like cooking for dinner, so went off to a place to eat and faced a plague of dancing waitstaff and peanuts.

My wife was not worried by the continued plaguing and contented herself with a drink.

This morning our neighbors were moving out, so there was a plague of pounding.

I made muffins and we watched some of the Olympics. I thought the bike road race was very interesting, but as it ended the way the announcers assured me it would not, I don’t have much faith in them.
And, the seem confuse with Olympics with the Tour de France as they talked more about the latter than the former.
But, once the race was done, we headed off to go see the new Batman movie.
In the parking lot, we found the next plague, tennis balls. (Probably brought on by the Olympics.)

Then, we faced something far worse than plagues, the shopping mall on a Saturday.

I don’t like that movie theater much, but it does have a great view.

We liked the movie quite a bit.
And, it was like old home week of Science Fiction Supporting Actors.
“Hey! It’s Owen from Torchwood!” Sure is!
“Is that Teal’c from Stargate?” It was!
“Is that the guy from the old Millennium series?” Yes!
“Sgt Wu from Grim?” Totally!
I’m sure there were plenty more I just missed as well.
The movie is very long, so afterwards we ate at the Red Robin next to the theater.
They put berry limeade in strange glasses.

As we sat there, we saw some clouds approaching.

Despite the 30% chance of rain in the forecast, it started to rain.

It rained quite a bit in a short time.

Going home became a problem because the roads flooded and we had to detour.

When we got home, the normally dry stream bed was flowing.

So, maybe this was the reversal of parting a sea. The water flowed in, not out.
