My designer was having a discussion with The Ogre and the Summer Intern
about the experiment they were setting up.
“That’s mint!” the designer said.
“What?” they both asked.
“You know ‘mint’ means cool, right?” my designer asked.
“No, if you want to say something is cool, you say it is ‘sick’,” the
intern said.
He looked over at me.
“Does ‘sick’ really mean cool now?” he asked.
I looked over at the Ogre and the Intern.
“We are confused because we are what is still called Old.”
The intern literally doubled over while laughing.

Date: 2012-06-22 08:59 pm (UTC)Heh, reminded of when I was at the Apple repair place today and I was asking how the new Laptops compare to my old/dead G5
in performance and all (since I've stayed out of the loop and still fight this stigma that Lappys are "less powerful" than desktops),
The lady had a good laugh for a few moments, and said, no, the new Laptops can blow my Mac out of the water 500x over.
Well, then! :D
