M&M distribution
Apr. 13th, 2012 02:19 pmFor the last 8 months or so, I’ve been tracking the color distribution of
the M&M’s I eat.
At least for the basic store ones, there are 6 colors. If they were evenly
distributed it would be 16.66666ect% each.
It is close in the over all average. (1366 sample size.)

But, if you get into the distribution of the different kinds it is less
clear.

I must admit there is a much lower sample size on the pretzel as I’ve only
had 2 bags of them and wasn’t impressed. So, those results could be due to
the low sample size.

While orange is my favorite color I prefer my m&m's red. I think it is from the time when we could not get a red m&m.
