Last night I dreamed I was involved in a live action Simpson’s
episode/movie.
I didn’t really seem to be part of it, other than observing, so maybe I was
the camera.

It was sent in some sort of food factory where a conveyer belt picked up
things and dipped them into some sort of coating.  I think it was corn
dogs, but I’m not sure.  The factory was somewhere in Asia where the people
spoke with a heavy accent.  But, it was clearly a movie fake accent.
The people playing the Simpsons didn’t look a whole lot like their cartoon
versions.  I didn’t even realize they were the Simpsons until they were
identified by name in the dream.

Anyhow, most of the Simpsons had wandered into this factory, been picked up
and dunked in the stuff.  The belt carried them over to one side and hung
them to dry hanging from their heads.

Principal Skinner found them hanging this way and said “I’m not surprised
this happened to you.  And, I am happy to see that the only one of you with
a brain is not hanging there.  Where is Lisa anyhow?”
At that point the girl playing Lisa ran out and set her family free of the
machine.
Homer then got into an argument with an old woman who sat in a chair by a
rotary switch.  It was her job to turn the fan in the factory off to save
power.  Anyone who turned it on, she would yell at and shut it back off.
Homer tried to get a variety of other people with strange accents to
convince the woman to turn the fan on, but she wouldn’t.
Dream ends

I remember reading an article this week saying the Simpsons had just had
their 500th episode.  It’s been a while since I watched it.  That must have
put it into my head.

I think that the simpsons and "The Machine Stops" (EM Forster from my facebook link) got mixed up together in there, somehow..
