And now, fire.
Feb. 19th, 2012 07:50 pmTwo weeks out from Pensacola we’ve only got a few practices left.
Today we broke out the fire stuff to get some practice in with that before the show.
I haven’t seen our tip bucket since November. It still has some of our extensive gains in the bottom.

I’m told by those doing it that taking a break from setting yourself on fire makes it that much more of a weird feeling when you start again.

You can tell it is a happy experience.

I’m told the eating was similar.

(I won’t do either, so what do I know?)
We also need to cross train some. My wife isn’t usually the person to light Tom’s head on fire.

Jose isn’t usually the one to do fuel.

But, our usual head lighter and fueler won’t be with us this trip, so we’ve got to have folks learn new skills.
Jose is also leaning our S fans, which is a trick no one has done before.

And, of course, some folks will be doing the things they normally do.

I guess there was some relearning there too.
